Housing

During the 2025 session, citizens of Girls State will live on the University of North Dakota (UND) campus. Rooms are arranged in suites with two participants staying in a room and two rooms sharing a bathroom. Elevators are available. The rooms are not air conditioned and they can get stuffy; you may wish to bring a fan.

Please note that the twin beds have extra-long mattresses. Please read the 2025 Girls State Packing List for additional information.

Students should report to campus June 8th between 12pm-3pm for registration.  Directions to the residence hall are included with your registration packet.

Food

The program will utilize Wilkerson Dining Center.  Wilkerson offers several menu options including Dakota Homestyle, The Grille, Sizzling Salads, Global Cuisine, Allergen-Free, Wood-Fired Italiano/Pizza, Gourmet Noodle, Garden Greens, Chef’s Table, and Sweet Treats.
