Housing

During the 2024 session, citizens of Girls State will live on the University of North Dakota (UND) campus. Rooms are arranged in suites with two participants staying in a room and two rooms sharing a bathroom. Elevators are available. The rooms are not air conditioned and they can get stuffy; you may wish to bring a fan.

Please note that the twin beds have extra-long mattresses. Please read the 2024 Girls State Packing List for additional information.

Students should report to campus June 9th between 12pm-3pm for registration.  Directions to the residence hall can be found on our check-in page.

Food

The program will utilize Wilkerson Dining Center.  Wilkerson offers several menu options including Dakota Homestyle, The Grille, Sizzling Salads, Global Cuisine, Allergen-Free, Wood-Fired Italiano/Pizza, Gourmet Noodle, Garden Greens, Chef’s Table, and Sweet Treats.
